Now you can easily predict chromatographic retention (k′) on Merck SeQuant ZIC®-HILIC columns using only the molecular structure of your compound as input data. With this new free on-line tool, you can easily determine if your compound is suitable for HILIC separations or if other techniques are more promising. The predicted retention also gives a valuable hint to selection of initial mobile phase conditions and where to start method optimization.

Simply draw your molecule or find the structural information on-line (suitable sources provided) and then paste the information into the prediction program. Select model pH and start the prediction calculations. Within a few seconds or less you have a scientifically based estimation of how HILIC your compound is.
